The Legacy Pinning Ceremony celebrates students who are continuing a Western tradition as second-, third-, or even fourth-generation Catamounts.

During this special event, legacy students are presented with a commemorative legacy pin by their alumni family member, recognizing the lasting connection their families share with Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp and welcoming the next generation into the Catamount alumni family.

Note: We accept siblings, parents, aunts/uncles, grandparents, etc as your legacy. If the connection is important to you, we welcome you to join. 

Support the Bob Waters Leadership Endowment Fund and honor Coach Waters at this annual tournament set against the scenic backdrop of Sequoyah National Golf Club, open to all alumni and friends.

Join fellow Catamounts this fall at Lazy Hiker Brewing in Franklin for a laid-back evening of good company, local brews and Catamount connections.

Spend a fall afternoon at Jeter Mountain Farm with fellow Catamounts! Pick apples, enjoy local food and cider, explore the farm and take in the mountain scenery while connecting with the WCU community.
