WCU Wellride is a non-emergency medical transportation option available to students that may not have easy access to other transportation alternatives.  This service is available 24x7 except for class breaks (fall, winter, spring and summer).

Transportation to a Sylva Pharmacy:

If you need a transportation a local pharmacy to pick up medications, you can schedule a Wellride transport Monday through Friday between the hours of 4:00pm-6:00pm.

Transportation from the Harris Hospital Emergency Department:

If you need a way to travel back to campus from the emergency department, contact campus dispatch at 828-227-8911 and request WCU Wellride to pick you up at the hospital.

The service can provide transportation back to any on-campus location or campus adjacent housing within a 1 陆 mile radius of campus.

Cost

The cost of a transport is $15.00 and will be billed directly to your WCU student account.

If you are a minor (under the age of 18), you must have your parent or legal guardian complete the consent form.
