If you change email addresses or forget your password, contact your student. Only
the student can reset passwords or change the email address associated with your access.
When your student resets your password or your email address, you will receive a new
temporary single-use password and link similar to when you claimed your initial access.
If the information is included in the list above of records that are eligible for
allowed access, you may contact your student and ask for authorizations to be updated.
Some information (such as 5th/8th/11th week grades, tests, homework, quizzes, Canvas
assignments, HIPAA protected information, etc) is not available through Proxy Access.
No, guests with proxy access are not able to make any changes to student schedules.
Yes. View-only access is limited by vendor functionality, the access your student
grants you, and university policy. Emails, texts, tests, homework, quizzes, and HIPPA
protected records are examples of records you are not allowed to see.
Students picking up transcripts must present a valid picture ID. A second party who
has written authorization from the student and a valid picture ID may pick up a requested
academic transcript.
