Steiner co-edits 鈥楳otivating Students on a Time Budget鈥�

The Association of College and Research Libraries has announced the publication of 鈥淢otivating Students on a Time Budget: Pedagogical Frames and Lesson Plans for In-Person and Online Information Literacy Instruction,鈥� which was co-edited by Sarah Steiner, head of research and instruction services, and associate professor, at WCU鈥檚 Hunter Library.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Jerri McLemore, a professor of pathology at Wake Forest University and medical examiner for Western North Carolina, who is also from the Creek Nation of Oklahoma.

Artist collective plans artwork in Dillsboro, sets town hall meetings

In partnership with the Appalachian Women鈥檚 Museum and the Jackson County Public Library, WCU鈥檚 LIVLAB Artist Collective will be hosting two town hall meetings to gather local stories of women who have built, nurtured and sustained local communities and the region.
