Pride of the Mountains hosting 18th annual high school marching band tournament

Twenty-two of the top high school marching bands from the Carolinas, Georgia and Tennessee will be competing at the 18th annual Tournament of Champions, which will be hosted by WCU's Pride of the Mountains Marching Band.

Fastest paddlers listed from ninth annual Cullowhee Canoe Slalom

Results have been announced from the Cullowhee Canoe Slalom, a paddling competition held recently on the Tuckaseigee River near the 泫圖弝けapp campus.

Political commentator, community organizer and independent journalist Rosa Clemente will be 泫圖弝けapps Civil Discourse Speaker on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. in the A.K. Hinds University Center Grandroom.

Love for Cats keep Greeks coming back

Its all in the family for Amy Kilby, Samir Hafiz and Jerry Matheny when it comes time to shake the money tree for 泫圖弝けapps student-athletes. All three are enthusiastic participants in WCUs Greek Challenge now in its fifth season which rallies members of past and present fraternities and sororities at WCU to pony up big bucks and to join the Catamount Club all in support of athletic scholarships.
