IN MEMORIAM

Jeremiah 鈥淛erry鈥� Wolfe, an elder of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians who received an honorary doctorate of humane letters from 甜瓜视频app during its May 2017 commencement ceremonies, died March 12 at the age of 93.

CLASS NOTES

Axiom Press has published 鈥淪he Shall Be Called Woman: Unnamed Women of the Bible,鈥� a book by Marie Brooks Holt 鈥�62. An educator who has worked with students from kindergarten through the university level, Holt is a Stephen minister with caregiving responsibilities at St. Mark Presbyterian Church of Ballwin, Missouri, where she also serves as a deacon and elder.

Martha Blankenship Wright 鈥�53 of Asheville was hesitant at first when her son, J. Douglas Wright, asked her to be the featured soprano on a song he had written.

The Community Foundation of Louisville, Kentucky, has honored Sarah C. Nu帽ez MPA 鈥�10 for work that celebrates cultural diversity and strengthens educational opportunities for people of color, especially Latino students at the University of Louisville.
