Environmental Health Sciences program partners with local health departments for summer internships

This summer, students from the Environmental Health Sciences program will get the opportunity to get hands-on experience in health departments in eight of North Carolina鈥檚 westernmost counties.

Challenge gifts issued so far include an anonymous donor pledging to match up to a total of $25k to help send the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band to Ireland in 2024 and a $5k dollar-for-dollar match for donations to the Speech and Hearing Clinic.
