Search underway for new athletics director

甜瓜视频app has launched a search for a new intercollegiate athletics director following the resignation of Alex Gary earlier this month. Chancellor Kelli R. Brown has appointed a 13-member committee to assist in selecting Gary's successor.
The search committee will be chaired by WCU Provost Richard Starnes '92, '94 and includes:
- Cameron Cooper '07, former WCU student athlete
- Mike Crawford '87, WCU Foundation Board chair
- Nora Lynn Finch '70, former WCU student athlete and former deputy AD at NC State University
- Bailey Hartsough, WCU student athlete (volleyball)
- James Hogan '03, WCU assistant vice chancellor for engagement
- Alex Macaulay, faculty athletics representative and head of WCU History Department
- Micah Nelson, WCU student athlete (football)
- Ashleigh Simmons, WCU senior associate athletics director
- Jonathan Tsipis, head coach of WCU women鈥檚 basketball
- Melissa Wargo, WCU chief of staff
- Eddie Wells '03, Catamount Club founder of Cullowhee Collective NIL
- Shea Browning, general counsel (ex officio)
