Chancellor Kelli R. Brown has announced that Jamie T. Raynor will transition from her current position as vice chancellor for advancement into a new role as special campaign adviser, effective immediately.

The Catamount School is now located in the Cordelia Camp Building, which was built in 1964 and housed the Camp Laboratory School until its closing in 1994.

Kelli Brown, who last month celebrated her fifth year as WCU鈥檚 Chancellor, addressed faculty and staff Wednesday, Aug. 13, during the annual Fall Opening Assembly, a prelude to the start of the 2024-25 academic year.

WCU will present the 2024 Mountain Heritage Awards during the Mountain Heritage Day festival Saturday, Sept. 28, on the Ingles Blue Ridge Stage around midday.
