Call Me MiSTER program welcomes its largest cohort

WCU has tripled its cohort of Call Me MiSTER program participants, bringing in six new members who will start their four-year journey to becoming a teacher this fall.

Kayla Patterson is a recent graduate of the Higher Education Student Affairs master’s program. She began her undergraduate studies in pursuit of a medical degree at Cleveland State University on a basketball scholarship before transferring to New York University.

UP Program Accredited

UP Program becomes first in country to be accredited

HESA Student Kayla Patterson Awarded Future Scholar Award

Kayla Patterson is a current student in the second-year cohort of the Higher Education Student Affairs program at Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµapp. She has a graduate assistantship in the Department of Residential Living. She was recently awarded the Future Scholar Award from The Academy of Leisure Sciences. This prestigious program supports potential Ph.D. students in the field of Leisure Studies through mentorship and action. Those designated as Future Scholars have gone on to have significant impacts on the cultural context of leisure.
