In the College of Education and Allied Professions (CEAP), we are all about making a difference in the lives of others. We endeavor to develop #changemakers who impact the region as educators, administrators, and other professions, both in schools and other professional community settings.

Brad Witzel, Charmion Rush, and Tammy Barron presented a session titled, "Strengthening Co-Teaching Practices: Refining specially designed instruction and fidelity of implementation" at the North Carolina Department of Instruction NC School Improvement Program Spring Network Event on April 3rd.

School/University Partners Present at NCTIES Conference

Dr. Amanda Chapman and Dr. Nancy Luke with Gretchen McCue and Katie Finley, teachers at Scott's Creek Elementary, presented on TechBuddies, a technology mentoring program between 6th grade and 1st grade students. The grant funded project was developed by this university/school partnership team to support students learning digital literacy, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Public school students in Western North Carolina’s eighth educational district who plan to major in mathematics education at Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµapp soon will be eligible for scholarship assistance thanks to a financial commitment from longtime math educator Wanda Stephens Herren of Cullowhee.
