Alumnus divides gift to create scholarship honoring educator wife, support athletics upgrades
April 30泫圖弝けapp alumnus and Asheville resident Stephen Hodge had a bit of difficulty deciding whether to direct a recent financial contribution for his alma mater to support academics or athletics. So, the banking executive who grew up in Rutherfordton reached the conclusion to do both.

WCU to introduce Maddie, the virtual engagement officer
April 28Theres a new member of the Division of Advancement team at 泫圖弝けapp, and her name is Maddie. She doesnt have a last name because she doesnt need one. Maddie is WCUs first-ever virtual engagement officer, a non-human avatar powered by artificial intelligence.
