Each program in the College has an advisory board with appointed members, organized by the program director/coordinator. Program advisory boards meet at minimum once per year to provide support and advise to program faculty. Board members also serve as ambassadors to the programs by connecting programs with external parties and share information regarding developments and news in the program field.
Below, are a list of college and department level committees.

To change the curriculum, you must initiate a change proposal in , the curriculum management system. There are two main types of changes you can make to the curriculum:

  • Course changes: this includes creating or deleting courses and changing an existing course's properties such as prefix, number, title, description, credit hours, and prerequisites. Changes made to a course will affect that course no matter where it is listed in the catalog.

  • Program changes: this includes creating or deleting academic programs and making changes to them, such as what courses are required, what concentrations or cores (groups of classes) are in the program, and the admissions requirements.

A typical curriculum change must be approved by:

  • curriculog administrator

  • department curriculum committee

  • department head

  • college curriculum committee

  • college dean

  • university level curriculum committee - Liberal Studies, Undergraduate Curriculum, Graduate Council, and/or Professional Education Council (your proposal may need to go through more than one committee)

  • faculty senate

  • provost's office & registrar

Each of the committees meets at least once per month during the fall and spring semesters. The meetings are scheduled so a proposal without problems can flow through them within a few months.
