MAT - Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology (STEM) Concentration

What You'll Learn

The MAT enables students holding degrees other than education degrees to study in selected teaching programs at the advanced graduate level. On graduating, you will qualify for both an initial and advanced teaching license in North Carolina.

Teaching options for the STEM concentration include: Comprehensive Science (grades 9-12), Biology (grades 9-12), Earth Science (grades 9-12), Physics (grades 9-12), Chemistry (grades 9-12), Middle Grades Science (grades 6-9), Mathematics (grades 9-12), and Middle Grades Mathematics (grades 6-9).
