Teaching Interests

Dr. Barrett-Tatum teaches literacy development and instructional methods courses within the elementary and middle grades programs. She also enjoys teaching the research-based, Capstone courses in the ELMG MAED program.

Research Interests

Her research interests include literacy curriculum and policy, literacy instruction and assessment, and pre-service and in-service teaching preparation.
