During the fall 2025 semester, 30 interior design juniors from Ƶapp’s School of Art and Design (SOAD) embarked on an experience that extended well beyond the classroom, offering hands-on, real-world design and research opportunities through a collaborative design charette with Auburn University.

Alexis Shafir rolls paint over a slab of wood she etched into art. She takes it over to the printing press in Bardo Arts Center, presses it down onto a surface and delights in the result on her paper, fabric or whatever else her imagination desires.
