Biography

I am a Spanish Instructor at WCU, and have also taught Spanish at the University of Georgia, University of Minnesota, and Southwestern Community College. <br><br>I studied abroad as an undergraduate in Santiago de Compostela, Spain and have worked on study abroad programs in Costa Rica and Argentina. I have also led student trips to England, Scotland, and Italy.

Teaching Interests

I teach language sequences courses (SPAN 101-231) as well as upper-level Hispanic cultures, conversation, and linguistics courses.

I am interested in language contact and language change.
