Teaching Interests
I have greatly enjoyed the teaching opportunities I have had and look forward to continuing
to work with and share my knowledge and experiences with students. I have been fortunate
to work with students from middle school to university age. As a middle and high school
science teacher, I love challenging students to use their minds to think critically
and problem-solve. As a university instructor, I work to engage pre-service teachers
to gain an understanding of their own educational philosophy and develop an understanding
of how students learn and how they, as future educators, can grow to engage students
in learning that considers each individual's uniqueness.
