Biography

Emily is originally from Clarksville, TN and is proud to have made Appalachia her home. She earned her M.A. from WCU’s English Department in 2011. Her interests include visual rhetoric, Appalachian Studies, and Beat literature. When not teaching, Emily enjoys being outdoors with her dogs.
