Biography

I began my legal career in 1983 as an assistant district attorney in DeKalb County, Georgia. I was elected district attorney in 1992 and served in that position until 2004. I opened my own law firm in Atlanta in 2007. I was an adjunct professor of criminal law at Georgia State University Law School for ten years before moving to North Carolina in 2015.
