Biography
Dr. Marie-Line Germain is an <b>internationally recognized scholar </b>who holds a
Ph.D. in Leadership and Human Resource Development.Professor Germain was selected
as a <b>Fulbright Specialist (U.S. Department of State)</b> in 2017 in Ghana, Africa,
where she provided guidance to a major Ghanaian university on furthering research
initiatives. Professor Germain has been a <b>Visiting Professor-Scholar</b> in Finland,
Japan, South Korea, China (twice), Africa, and France (EmLyon University) and a keynote
speaker in Portugal.<br>In addition to her scholarship, Dr. Germain is an <b>experienced
consultant</b> specializing in psychosocial risks, mental health in the workplace,
and personality disorders of corporate leaders. She has served as a consultant to
CAC 40 companies, emerging businesses, Fortune 50, government agencies, and nonprofits.
She is the founder of the <i>MSHR Consulting Initiative</i> through which MSHR students
serve as consultants to nonprofits and small businesses worldwide, entirely remotely.
She also founded the podcast show, <i><b>Dear Human Resources</b></i> (available where
you get your podcasts).<br>She has published nearly <b>30 peer-reviewed research articles,
book chapters, and editorials</b> and has given approximately <b>70 research presentations</b>
throughout the world. She is the <b>author of six books</b>: (her 7th book will out

is a member of the Eastern Academy of Management and the Academy of Human Resource
Development. She is the former Senior Director of the Eastern Academy of Management
International Conference, a current Editorial Board member of the journal Career Development
International, and the Book Reviews Editor of the European Journal of Training and
Development.<br>Dr. Germain has made numerous <b>media appearances</b> (television,
radio, podcasts, and newspapers), including ESPN, WLOS-TV Channel News 13, the HuffPost,
Refinery29, Fortune, Bloomberg Business, and Dubrovnik-TV in Croatia.<br>In her free
time, Dr. Germain is an avid international traveler, art collector, architecture aficionada,
and an occasional 5k runner. One of her former pastimes included flying airplanes
(FAA single-engine pilot license).<br>She has lived, studied, and worked in France,
Scotland, and England.
